In fact, the working principle of the motor is very simple, but many friends can't tell. The motor can be divided into seven types. The following is an introduction to you by Yuma precision's editor. After reading it, you can understand it!

1 Servo motor

Servo motor is widely used in various control systems, which can convert the input voltage signal into the mechanical output of the motor shaft, and drag the controlled components to achieve the control purpose.

In the past, the servo motor was a general DC motor, which would be used if the control accuracy was not high. Structurally speaking, the DC servo motor was a low-power DC motor, which was generally controlled by armature.

2 Stepping motor

Stepping motor is actually very easy to understand, that is, when the stepping driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepping motor to rotate a fixed angle according to the set direction.

The commonly used stepping motors include reactive stepping motor (VR), permanent magnet stepping motor (PM), hybrid stepping motor (HB) and single-phase stepping motor.

3 Torque motor

Torque motor is a kind of flat multi-stage permanent magnet DC motor. Its armature has more slots, commutators and series conductors to reduce torque ripple and speed ripple.

The motor is also divided into DC torque motor and AC torque motor, the use of different needs, different choices. The self inductance of DC torque motor is very small, so its response is very good; AC torque motor is generally used in textile industry which requires low speed and high torque.

4 Switched reluctance motor

Switched reluctance motor (SRM) is a new type of speed regulating motor, which has the advantages of simple structure, low cost and excellent speed regulating performance.

5 Brushless DC motor

Brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is developed on the basis of Brushless DC motor, but its driving current is AC; Brushless DC motor can be divided into brushless speed motor and brushless torque motor. Generally, there are two kinds of driving current of brushless motor, one is trapezoidal wave (generally "square wave"), the other is sine wave.

This kind of motor has good linearity of mechanical characteristics and regulation characteristics, wide range of speed regulation, long service life, convenient maintenance, low noise, and no series of problems caused by brush. Therefore, this kind of motor has great application potential in control system.

6 Variable frequency motor

1. Construction principle of variable frequency motor

The speed regulation and control of motor is one of the basic technologies of all kinds of industrial and agricultural machinery, office and people's livelihood Electrical equipment. With the amazing development of power electronics technology and microelectronics technology, the AC speed regulation mode of "special frequency conversion induction motor + frequency converter" is leading a new revolution in the field of speed regulation to replace the traditional speed regulation mode with its excellent performance and economy.

2. Application of variable frequency motor

At present, variable frequency speed regulation has become the mainstream speed regulation scheme, which can be widely used in all walks of life CVT.

Especially with the increasingly wide application of frequency converter in the field of industrial control, the use of frequency conversion motor is also increasingly widespread

7 Linear motor

Linear motor is used in various motion control systems, especially in servo system. Because AC synchronous motor has its own advantages in reliability and maintenance, power factor, motor size and moment of inertia, control accuracy, flux weakening ratio and so on, for large capacity motor, countries in the world have basically tended to use synchronous motor.

For example, in industrial applications, high-power air compressors, water pumps, high-power hoists in coal and non-ferrous metal industries and large capacity rolling mills in steel mills are driven by synchronous motors.

In recent years, the use of motor is more and more frequent, especially the linear motor, has been widely valued and reused in the world machine tool industry, and set off a "linear motor fever" in the industrial developed areas of Western Europe. After reading the introduction of the working principle and application of seven kinds of motors made by Yuma precision, I believe you have a certain understanding of the motor~
